What are the side-effects of CETICIT Cetirizine 10mg Tablet?

Allergic reactions, which can range from mild to severe, including angioedema (a serious allergic reaction causing swelling of the face or throat), may occur either shortly after initial medication intake or at a later time.
Frequent side effects, potentially affecting up to 1 in 10 patients:
  • Sleepiness (sleepiness)
  • Dizziness and headaches
  • Gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea, nausea, and dry mouth
  • Fatigue
  • Pharyngitis and cold-like symptoms in children.

Dosage / Direction for Use of CETICIT Cetirizine 10mg Tablet

For adults, elderly patients, and children aged 12 years and older: the recommended dosage is 10 mg once daily, administered as one tablet daily. Children between 6 and 12 years old: should take half a tablet twice daily.
 
The tablets should be swallowed with water. Do not take more than one tablet each day.
 
This medication is not suitable for children under 6 years old. For those with severe kidney problems or concurrent liver and kidney issues, consulting a doctor or pharmacist for potential dose adjustments is recommended.
 

Contraindications

Patients with moderate renal impairment.
